Product Marketing Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of private label (store brand) products through their evolutionary life cycle.
• Develop and negotiate product copy, work with the Creative Team to approve copy and graphics, and ensure the Master Product Creative is optimized and leveraged across all customers.
• Respond to customer requests, including managing product refreshes and ongoing product testing.
• Identify and lead development of product improvements, cost savings, and sustainability initiatives from concept to execution.
• Write creative briefs and provide feedback to outside vendors and Engineering on product and process improvements.
• Analyze performance of new products and product improvements, making recommendations for the future.
• Identify areas of growth, recommending new categories, new products, and/or product improvements.
• Identify SKUs for potential discontinuation based on product performance, profitability, and complexity.
• Work cross-functionally with Creative, Sales, Regulatory, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
• Present status updates to senior management on a quarterly basis, with smaller monthly updates.
• Work with the E-Comm Team to expand and manage products on Amazon Seller Central, including adding/updating products and managing advertising.
• Make recommendations to expand the E-commerce business across Amazon and other e-tailers.
• Conduct analysis of category, branded, and private label performance using shipment and IRI data, and present findings to senior management.
• Maintain and update the online product catalog.

• Solid understanding of consumer needs and marketing principles.
• Customer orientation and ability to identify new product or improvement opportunities.
• Ability to analyze IRI and shipment data to report on trends and opportunities.
• Flexible and responsive to changing customer needs.
• Bachelor's degree, with a preference for Marketing.
• 2+ years of experience in product management with project management experience.
• Experience working with the Amazon sales platform (Seller Central) desired.
• Experience in Health Care and/or Beauty categories preferred.
