Key Responsibilities

  • Translate complex investment strategies into compelling, client-centric messaging aligned with PIMCO's brand for institutional and retail audiences, acting as the subject matter expert for assigned coverage areas.
  • Lead integrated B2B marketing campaigns across digital, social media, and traditional channels, collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to ensure high-impact delivery.
  • Develop and drive social media strategies for platforms such as LinkedIn, X, and YouTube, monitoring engagement metrics to optimize content effectiveness and grow social presence.
  • Analyze marketing and social media performance metrics, synthesize insights into executive summaries, and present findings to senior leadership to inform strategic decisions.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and development to 1-2 direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Collaborate with product strategy, sales, and marketing teams to develop strategic marketing plans, analyze results, and communicate insights for optimization.
  • Oversee multiple projects, ensuring deadlines, compliance, and stakeholder expectations are met, while driving process improvements.
  • Manage relationships with creative agencies and vendors to produce marketing assets, ensuring brand consistency and timely delivery.
  • Create and maintain marketing collateral, including brochures, emails, messaging, social media content, video scripts, and talking points, to enable sales teams.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and gather insights from sales and clients to refine positioning and identify new opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, or related field; CFA, CAIA, or MBA preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in product marketing within asset management or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of investment products such as mutual funds, ETFs, and SMAs, and financial markets.
  • Proven success in developing and executing social media strategies for B2B or financial audiences.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience managing direct reports and/or agency partners.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to senior leadership.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret social media and marketing data.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-changing environment with evolving priorities.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with investment partners and cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional marketing strategy skills and content creation expertise across web, social media, print, and email platforms.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with in-house AI tools and competitive intelligence gathering.
  • Experience in the asset management or financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields; advanced certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or MBA are preferred.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in product marketing within financial services or asset management.

Benefits & Perks

  • Total compensation approach including a base salary and discretionary bonus.
  • Salary Range: $100,000 - $135,000.
