About the Role

The Product Marketing Manager II, Rider Acceleration role is based in San Francisco, California, and focuses on developing strategies to deepen rider relationships and increase multi-product usage across Uber's rider portfolio.   • Identify ways to better visualize and articulate the value of Uber's products in marketing placements and the purchase flow to increase understanding and consideration.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to test hypotheses and marketing tactics across various channels.
  • Craft positioning, messaging, and education tailored for different audiences based on insights, motivations, and barriers to adoption.
  • Partner with Research, Marketing, and Product teams to synthesize insights and data to inform campaign strategies that drive multi-product usage.
  • Scale successful campaigns and learnings from experiments to global markets.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of marketing or product experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in consumer product marketing.
  • Ability to manage and lead a team of product marketers.
  • Strong data skills to leverage insights for decision-making and growth.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Self-starter attitude with a bias toward action and collaboration.
  • Experience designing and interpreting experiments.
  • Ability to translate insights into product and marketing ideas to increase conversion.
  • Proficiency with design tools like Figma or Canva for creating imagery and graphics.
  • Growth mindset towards using AI to improve workflow and content creation.
