About the Role

The Red Hat Ansible Product Marketing team is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join us in Raleigh or Durham, NC. In this position, you will bring technical skills and background to a product marketing role. This is a unique opportunity to apply existing skills in a new way, connecting technical knowledge and the intersection of AI and product marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Connect technical knowledge of software products and use it to assist in product launches
Lead and influence development of content to help gain mindshare and drive customer wins, e.g., messaging, thought leadership, presentations, sales plays, demos, reference architectures, battlecards, webpages, win wires, etc.
Evangelize Red Hat Ansible both internally and externally via webinars, social media, roadshows, industry events, customer briefings, sales training workshops, etc.
Apply technical knowledge to an interest in using AI to build better internal solutions for marketing effectiveness
Leverage AI tools like Gemini to create, manage, and automate GTM workflows and planning
Collaborate with technical marketing and product management on go-to-market strategy, including roadmap, positioning, messaging, and content plans

Requirements

2+ years of product or technical marketing experience, preferably with B2B technology companies
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree is a plus
Critical thinking skills with a proven ability to develop creative solutions
Ability to translate technical features into user experiences
Solid written and verbal communication and presentation skills; experience presenting is a plus
Ability to work with some supervision in a startup-like environment
Hands-on technical experience in scripting languages like YAML, Bash or Python
Experience with technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, IT Automation, Configuration Management, Provisioning, IT Operations, Networking, Cloud technologies, Containers, Kubernetes, VMware, etc.
Experience with public cloud offerings like AWS, GCP, and Azure, and familiarity with Event driven architectures, AI/ML, Edge computing is a plus
Willingness to travel 10-25%

Nice to Have

Experience with AI/ML and Edge computing
Experience with tools like Gemini for automation and planning

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of product or technical marketing experience
