About the Role

The Product Marketing Manager V role at BCforward is a remote position responsible for influencing brand and product strategies, positioning for target audiences, leading go-to-market efforts that drive awareness and adoption, and working cross-functionally with various teams throughout the company. The role requires a strategic, consumer-focused marketer who is analytical and creative, excels at managing complex projects in fast-paced environments, and is passionate about connecting consumers with great products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver internal enablement resources that empower internal teams to deliver Client Horizon's brand strategy and narrative in-market, driving product understanding and engagement for consumers
  • Drive close partnership and alignment with PMMs and cross-functional teams to ensure outbound marketing assets and communications ladder up to Client Horizon's brand strategy and accurately represent brand architecture principles
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, spanning brand, marketing, product, marketing insights, UXR, data science, etc., to develop and execute brand strategy initiatives that are rooted in consumer insights/data and drive brand health and business results
  • Partner with internal and external creative and marketing teams to develop brand guidance on how to express the Client Horizon brand in external marketing campaigns, communications, and assets
  • Build strong collaborative alliances with internal stakeholders to gain strategic buy-in on brand strategy and marketing artifacts and drive flawless, unified execution across teams

Requirements

  • 10-15+ years of full-time experience in product marketing, brand marketing, consumer products, and/or brand management, with brands and at companies with global scale
  • Experience building mass-market consumer-centric brands
  • Experience using data to inform strategy and communication, and to develop meaningful go-to-market approaches that drive business outcomes
  • Experience leading consumer go-to-market strategies across multiple audiences, launching and growing free or paid consumer products
  • Experience working with Brand, Communications, Policy, and Legal teams at all levels of management
  • Experience presenting, facilitating discussions, and driving decisions with executives and cross-functional teams
  • Project management experience in fast-moving environments, working with different functions, showing strong judgment on assessing and solving problems
  • Experience in presenting to higher-level leadership and cross-functional forums

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of consumer mobile app and technology landscape both in the U.S. and internationally
  • Gaming or consumer technology industry experience
  • Experience and/or domain knowledge in augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, wearable devices, mobile devices, and/or hardware/software platforms
  • Global marketing experience and deep knowledge of diverse cultural, social, and business landscapes
  • Experience launching innovative, first-to-market products or services, emerging technologies or new product categories
  • Experience copywriting and working with creative teams
