About the Role

The Reality Labs Product Marketing team is seeking a Product Marketing Manager with a passion for building global brands and proven experience in developing and executing insights-driven marketing efforts that build brand affinity and engagement. In this role, you will build and market social immersive products and experiences that inspire meaningful human connection, creation and self expression. This position will join a team responsible for driving foundational consumer experiences for Horizon on VR and mobile as part of the Horizon Experiences product marketing team. The role involves influencing brand and product strategies, leading go-to-market efforts, and working cross-functionally across the company to ensure alignment with brand architecture and market positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver internal enablement resources that empower internal teams to deliver Horizon's brand strategy and narrative in-market, driving product understanding and engagement for consumers.
  • Drive close partnership and alignment with PMMs and cross-functional teams to ensure outbound marketing assets and communications ladder up to Horizon's brand strategy and accurately represent brand architecture principles.
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, spanning brand, marketing, product, marketing insights, UXR, data science, etc., to develop and execute brand strategy initiatives rooted in consumer insights/data that drive brand health and business results.
  • Partner with internal and external creative and marketing teams to develop brand guidance on how to express the Horizon brand in external marketing campaigns, communications, and assets.
  • Build strong collaborative alliances with internal stakeholders to gain strategic buy-in on brand strategy and marketing artifacts and drive flawless, unified execution across teams.
  • Demonstrate understanding of the Virtual Reality and software ecosystem to represent the market within the organization.

Requirements

  • BA or BS degree.
  • 10-15+ years of full-time experience in product marketing, brand marketing, consumer products, and/or brand management at companies with global scale.
  • Experience building mass-market consumer-centric brands.
  • Experience using data to inform strategy and develop meaningful go-to-market approaches that drive business outcomes.
  • Experience leading consumer go-to-market strategies across multiple audiences, launching and growing free or paid consumer products.
  • Experience working with Brand, Communications, Policy, and Legal teams at all levels of management.
  • Project management experience in fast-moving environments, working with different functions, and showing strong judgment on assessing and solving problems.
  • Experience presenting, facilitating discussions, and driving decisions with executives and cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of consumer mobile app and technology landscape both in the U.S. and internationally.
  • Gaming or consumer technology industry experience.
  • Experience and/or domain knowledge in augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, wearable devices, mobile devices, and/or hardware/software platforms.
  • Global marketing experience and deep knowledge of diverse cultural, social, and business landscapes.
  • Experience launching innovative, first-to-market products or services, emerging technologies, or new product categories.
  • Copywriting experience and working with creative teams.

Qualifications

  • 10-15+ years of full-time experience in product marketing, brand marketing, consumer products, and/or brand management.
