Key Responsibilities

  • Develop clear, compelling product positioning and messaging for Venmo products.
  • Support product launches and feature rollouts with holistic marketing campaigns to drive awareness, consideration, and adoption.
  • Partner with Marketing, Growth, and Product teams to execute go-to-market plans across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Work with Consumer Insights to conduct market research and analyze consumer behavior, trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Synthesize insights into actionable recommendations to inform marketing strategy and product development.
  • Partner closely with Product, Design, Commercial, and Consumer Insights teams to align on roadmap priorities and market needs.
  • Act as the voice of the customer in product development discussions, advocating for the wants and needs of users.
  • Help define key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the impact of product marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with Marketing Analytics to optimize campaign planning and execution based on data-driven insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in tech, fintech, or consumer digital products.
  • Strong ability to translate complex product features into simple, compelling messaging.
  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies and executing product marketing campaigns.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market research and consumer insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Design teams.
  • Passion for consumer products, culture, and the evolving digital payments landscape.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in product marketing within relevant industries.
