Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market strategy, messaging, and positioning for MSCI's Real Estate solutions in North America. The ideal candidate will combine deep domain knowledge in commercial real estate with a strong understanding of our core client segments—Asset Owners and Asset Managers—and will work cross-functionally with product management, sales, research, and communications teams to launch and promote offerings that address the evolving needs of institutional real estate investors and managers globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for MSCI's Real Estate products and solutions, with a focus on the specific needs and decision-making journeys of Asset Owners and Asset Managers in North America.
  • Craft client-centric messaging, positioning and value proposition that reflect the investment priorities, regulatory drivers, and operational models of institutional real estate investors.
  • Create and manage high-impact marketing content and campaigns, including thought leadership, webinars, product collateral, and web content that resonate with our key client segments.
  • Partner closely with product management from the earliest stages of product development—testing market demand, validating use cases with key client segments, and ensuring offerings are aligned with real industry needs.
  • Lead the development of go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
  • Lead competitive and market intelligence efforts, staying ahead of evolving trends in commercial real estate, technology (including AI), ESG, and capital allocation strategies used by institutional investors.
  • Collaborate closely with coverage management teams to support pipeline development, provide client-facing materials, and drive strategic account engagement.
  • Support and enhance sales enablement by equipping client-facing teams with positioning guides, pitch materials, and training aligned to the client segment's pain points and value drivers.
  • Champion the use of AI and analytics in developing scalable marketing approaches and delivering more personalized, insights-driven client experiences.
  • Partner with the digital team to measure and report on campaign effectiveness and engagement across client segments to refine strategies and maximize impact.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, strategy, or related roles, ideally within commercial real estate, real assets, or financial services.
  • In-depth understanding of the commercial property investment ecosystem, including fund management, valuation, and risk/return frameworks.
  • Proven ability to translate complex products into clear, differentiated messaging.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for storytelling and client-centric narratives.
  • Demonstrated comfort with AI tools, data-driven marketing, and a general aptitude for technology and innovation.
  • Experience collaborating across global teams and managing multiple stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with commercial real estate, real assets, or financial services.
  • Knowledge of technology trends including AI, ESG, and capital allocation strategies used by institutional investors.

Qualifications

  • Educational background is not explicitly specified in the description.

Benefits & Perks

  • Salary range: $133,000 - $173,000 per year plus eligible for annual bonus.
  • Transparent compensation schemes and comprehensive employee benefits, tailored to your location.
  • Flexible working arrangements, advanced technology, and collaborative workspaces.
  • A culture of high performance and innovation with opportunities for experimentation and responsibility.
  • Global network of talented colleagues and support for ongoing skills development through programs like Learning@MSCI, LinkedIn Learning Pro, and tailored learning opportunities.
  • Multi-directional career paths offering professional growth through new challenges, internal mobility, and expanded roles.
  • Inclusive environment with Employee Resource Groups such as All Abilities, Asian Support Network, Black Leadership Network, Climate Action Network, Hola! MSCI, Pride & Allies, Women in Tech, and Women's Leadership Forum.
