Key Responsibilities

  • Strategically identify opportunities to grow sales profitably with new and existing customers within an assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute account plans for existing and potential target accounts.
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and serve as a trusted advisor.
  • Develop and deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations that highlight solutions and benefits.
  • Think critically and suggest improvements to mitigate risks, reduce costs, and achieve customer goals.
  • Provide clear and accurate responses for RFPs and contribute technical solutions to proposals.
  • Identify customer business opportunities by analyzing cost-benefit ratios and proposing equipment, process, or service changes.
  • Develop and calculate finance solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or extensive related experience.
  • Previous sales experience within the industrial/technical sector with a successful track record.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and offer innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
  • High aptitude for mechanical processes and equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive as an essential function.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with technical equipment and machinery.
  • Background in engineering, sciences, construction, or business management.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a technical focus (Engineering, Sciences, Construction, Business Management) or extensive related experience.
