We are seeking a Programmatic Specialist responsible for tagging and supporting activation of digital media campaigns, overseeing campaign elements including tracking metrics, identifying issues, adjusting strategies, managing verification tags, maintaining a tagging spec library, and staying current on retailer tagging requirements. The role involves technical tasks, project management, and budgeting, executing DSP buys, managing campaigns end-to-end, and developing strategic buying solutions in collaboration with various teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client Programmatic media campaigns, including DSP strategy development, QA, campaign creation and management, optimization, report delivery, and client communication.
  • Develop strategies across all HOK solutions to achieve campaign KPIs; analyze campaign results and adjust strategy and budgets accordingly.
  • Provide programmatic subject matter expertise to inform opportunities for publisher buying types, creative recommendations, and ad format recommendations.
  • Evaluate media recommendations and clearly identify key media deliverables in terms of accountability and performance.
  • Regularly communicate with Media and Client Management teams on campaign health, reporting, and recommendations.
  • Oversee detailed elements of digital media campaigns, including tracking metrics and troubleshooting issues that impact performance.
  • Support activation of digital media campaigns by managing tagging, verification, and reporting tasks.
  • Execute hands-on DSP buys and campaign management for the agency’s largest accounts.
  • Foster relationships across departments and develop strategic buying solutions aligned with business needs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a hands-on role managing Programmatic campaigns.
  • Experience with WMC DSS.
  • Advanced understanding of Programmatic Buying.
  • Working knowledge of display, video, social, and/or DSP partners, and external data or media providers (DV360, TTD, Yahoo, Meta).
  • Expertise in cross-channel and cross-device tracking, optimization, and attribution.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities, delegate, and escalate as needed.
  • Self-starter with ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Critical thinking skills with decision-making ability considering multiple business units and clients.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with external data or media providers such as DV360, TTD, Yahoo, Meta.
