About the Role

As a Project Manager, you'll design, implement, and maintain impactful programs by leading projects and supporting teams. Clients will trust you to organize and coordinate program objectives, while your team will look to you for leadership as they navigate requirements, budget constraints, and staffing challenges. As a leader supporting the Army and other DoD entities, you'll identify opportunities to grow the business by supporting your client's mission. You'll also broaden your expertise in problem management, strategic planning, reviewing contracts, and more.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage engineering and technical projects within the Army and DoD domain.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring the quality of deliverables.
Manage staff and client communications.
Provide analysis of project budgets and forecasts.
Communicate with company leadership to infuse new knowledge into the project and perform regular reviews.
Explain complex analyses and themes to technical and non-technical audiences.
Support the customer and advocate for their development needs.
Solve large, complex problems.

Requirements

Experience managing engineering and technical projects in the Army and DoD domain.
Experience developing and maintaining project schedules and managing project quality.
Experience managing staff and client communications.
Experience analyzing project budgets and forecasts.
Experience communicating complex analyses to diverse audiences.
Knowledge of the project management lifecycle.
Ability to advocate for the customer and support their development needs.
Ability to solve large, complex problems.
Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience within a DoD technical procurement environment, or Master's degree and 3+ years of experience within a DoD technical procurement environment.

Nice to Have

Project Management Certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a relevant field.
5+ years of experience (for Bachelor's degree holders) or 3+ years (for Master's degree holders) within a DoD technical procurement environment.
Secret security clearance.
