QA Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Execute regression, functional, and end-to-end test cases as assigned by Senior or Lead QA Analyst.
• Perform regression testing when defects are fixed.
• Reproduce issues reported from the field and third-party partners.
• Create high-quality test cases based on requirements and acceptance criteria in collaboration with the QA team.
• Submit and track issues found during testing and ensure prompt resolution.
• Develop thorough knowledge of the product to test functionalities effectively.
• Review project requirements and establish necessary test environments for each project.
• Execute various testing methodologies including system testing, regression testing, functional testing, integration testing, and API testing.
• Reproduce issues to assist software development in resolving them.
• Interface with Engineering to resolve issues before product release.
• Maintain professional relationships with other departments, customers, and vendors.

Requirements

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Working knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Practitest, Trello, Postman, Cypress.
• 2+ years of relevant software testing experience preferred.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with API testing is a plus.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is desired.
• Experience with MongoDB and Windows Server preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of test methodologies and deriving test plans from system requirements.

Nice to Have

• Experience with gaming and pari-mutuel systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
