Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Karate DSL, JavaScript, and other relevant tools.
  • Build robust data validation frameworks using SQL, Python, and other relevant tools.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
  • Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for APIs, databases, and UI components.
  • Configure and customize test environments to align with client-specific needs.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
  • Document test plans, test cases, and test results clearly and comprehensively.
  • Provide post-deployment support and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in QA automation, system integration, or software implementation.
  • Proficiency in Karate Framework, Cucumber, Robot framework, or similar automation tools.
  • Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or relevant tools.
  • Strong understanding of data mapping, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with scripting/programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), Azure Data Factory, and API testing.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation in DevOps environments.
  • Knowledge of version control tools like Github, TFS, etc.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of performance testing and security testing tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Exposure to data visualization and reporting tools for test metrics and dashboards.

  • Educational background as specified in requirements (Bachelor's degree or equivalent).

  • Expected base salary/wage range of $110,000-150,000.
  • Eligibility for a bonus component based on performance factors.
