About the Role

The Quality Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests for web applications using the Playwright testing framework. The role involves working with automation tools, web technologies, and integrating testing processes within an agile development environment to ensure the quality and performance of software products, particularly within the aerospace landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute automated tests for web applications using the Playwright testing framework.
Work with automation tools such as Playwright, Puppeteer, or Selenium.
Integrate test automation processes with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI.
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or SOAPUI.
Conduct scalability and performance testing using tools like JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
Collaborate effectively within an agile development environment (Scrum, Kanban).
Utilize cloud-based testing solutions to enhance testing processes.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar automation tools (e.g., Puppeteer, Selenium).
Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for test automation.
Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or SOAPUI.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI.
Experience with scalability and performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment (Scrum, Kanban).
Understanding of cloud-based testing solutions.
Knowledge of the aerospace landscape and business environment.
