Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual and write automated tests, and identify actionable bugs quickly.
• Create clearly written defect reports; collaborate with engineers on bug fixing and testing.
• Trace complex build problems, release issues and environment issues in a multi-component environment.
• Perform various testing approaches including white-box, black-box, load testing, mobile testing, functional & regression testing, and integration testing.
• Establish metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and lead regular quality reporting.
• Drive progress towards a model of continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• Improve product delivery cycles through integration of testing into the agile delivery cycle.
• Plan/organize necessary test passes, stay on top of all important issues, help triage bugs and drive issues to resolution.
• Provide status reports to management and project stakeholders.
• Ensure internal documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date, including documenting testing procedures throughout the development process.

Requirements

• Quality Assurance experience in testing software applications.
• Ability to construct test cases and prioritize them based on changes.
• Knowledge of test and tool development methodology.
• Experience building automated API and UI tests.
• Strong communication skills, including development of presentations.
• Must pass initial background check and drug screening, as well as subsequent checks and vaccine requirements.
• Must comply with company vaccination policy.

Nice to Have

• Experience in regulated industry.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum software development approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 2 years of related working experience or a combination of education and experience with comparable knowledge and skills.
