Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer IV

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Upgrading existing TestComplete automation code to Pytest with Selenium.
• Driving and coordinating the Integration QA team's workload for proprietary and third-party IMS applications.
• Working across teams and business units to coordinate and execute test plans.
• Developing and managing test strategies including test data population, regression testing, and integration testing using manual and automation test beds.
• Promoting quality assurance standards and best practices across SEI's Agile teams.
• Ensuring regression tests are run in a traceable manner and that the team follows the SDLC policy.
• Performing high-level impact analysis and executing complex test approaches for production and maintenance-level software changes.
• Involvement in the life cycle of Data Migration processes, including requirement gathering, data analysis, data mapping, and reconciliation.
• Working with Scrum teams to complete root cause analysis and correction action plans to ensure test coverage throughout development, QA, and UAT cycles.
• Providing reviews and recommendations for process improvements related to Quality Assurance.
• Advising and assisting the QA Manager on testing risks and resolutions related to the Integration team's efforts.
• Sharing Scrum Master duties with the development manager.

Requirements

• Seven (7) years of experience working with QA or related experience, specifically with investment processing.
• Five (5) years of experience in SQL Query creation and execution.
• Five (5) years of experience using API and UI Automation Frameworks such as Selenium, Serenity, Test Complete, Ready API, PyTest, Postman, TestNG, or Insomnia.
• Experience reviewing and analyzing logs with tools like ELK, Splunk, Kibana, New Relic, or Dynatrace.
• Experience with sensitive data quality assurance including security test cases, permission boundary testing, and report validation.
• Experience with data migration lifecycle, including requirement gathering, data analysis, data mapping, and reconciliation.
• Experience with integration testing approaches between complex systems, both proprietary and third-party, including cloud server migrations.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for testing APIs and UI scripts.
• Monitoring logs with Splunk and Azure Application Insights.
• Validating mobile web applications on Android and iPhone devices.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Familiarity with SDLC lifecycle management tools such as Jira, Quality Center, or Rally.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience with terrestrial to cloud server migrations.
