About the Role

The Quality Assurance Tester will be responsible for manual and automation testing within Agile environments, ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications. The role involves analyzing requirements, creating test plans, executing tests, and generating reports. The position is with a client of Innova Solutions, a global technology and business transformation provider, based in Pennington, NJ, on a contract basis for 12+ months.

Key Responsibilities

Perform both automation and manual testing within Agile environments.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage end-to-end deliverables.
Analyze requirements, convert them into test cases, execute tests, and generate metrics and reports.
Create, execute, maintain, and curate test plans and test scripts using qTest.
Conduct API testing, mobile application testing, and SQL testing.

Requirements

7-10 years of experience in both automation and manual testing.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage deliverables.
Skilled in analyzing requirements and converting them into test cases.
Hands-on experience with creating, executing, and maintaining test plans and scripts using qTest.
Familiarity with the Investment Banking domain.
Experience with API testing, mobile application testing, and SQL.

Nice to Have

Experience in the Investment Banking domain.

Qualifications

Experience in automation and manual testing for 7-10 years.
