About the Role

The Regional Marketing Liaison (RML) Daybue role is a senior in-market position within the US commercial organization that focuses on engaging with key opinion leaders (KOLs), providing insights into regional opportunities, supporting speaker development and training, and executing educational programs. The role acts as a bridge between regional markets and headquarters, developing strategies and implementation plans for external stakeholders in their area. It involves liaising with various field-based professionals and home office colleagues across Marketing, Sales, Market Access, and Medical Affairs, reporting to the Director, Daybue Regional Marketing, and being part of the US Daybue HCP Marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive brand advocacy by establishing and reinforcing Acadia as a trusted partner among thought leaders in Rett Syndrome and beyond.
  • Develop deep clinical and commercial knowledge of the Rett market and regional treatment dynamics.
  • Manage key activities such as KOL relationship management, insights collection, advocacy development, speaker identification, training, and regional marketing efforts.
  • Execute physician engagement activities in the field and at key congresses.
  • Implement market development plans and tactics for pending indications and approvals.
  • Engage with national and regional thought leaders to impact education and drive brand advocacy, including identifying and cultivating emerging KOLs.
  • Serve as a commercial liaison across departments including ELT, Sales, Medical Affairs/MSL, and Marketing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide customer insights, develop regional strategies, and tailor tactics to regional needs.
  • Manage regional marketing projects and budgets related to key customer activities.
  • Translate scientific data and market research insights into commercial strategies aligned with the Daybue brand.
  • Provide field-based training for sales teams as needed.
  • Monitor account-level execution, identify gaps, and coordinate with regional partners.
  • Create and manage branded and unbranded speaker program content, develop physician speakers, and ensure compliant execution of speaker programs.
  • Lead planning and execution of Acadia’s presence at national and regional HCP conferences and scientific meetings.
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships with professional associations to enhance disease and product education.
  • Generate insights through advisory boards, secondary data, market research, and analytics, and develop tactical plans based on these insights.
  • Facilitate sharing of insights with internal functions and ensure compliance with legal and corporate policies.
  • Measure the impact of marketing activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Manage regional thought leader engagement budgets and vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, healthcare, business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong biopharmaceutical experience in sales, sales training, thought leader liaison, or marketing roles.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in Neurology; experience in rare diseases and pediatric neurology is strongly preferred.
  • Scientific and clinical acumen with the ability to engage with national KOLs on complex topics.
  • Vendor and budget management skills.
  • Executive presence and ability to influence without authority.
  • Organizational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work successfully in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Negotiating skills and ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Proficiency in creating and communicating a clear vision and aligning resources.
  • Experience with thought leader engagement, advisory boards, and speaker bureaus is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with agency partners and managing resources through medical/legal/compliance review processes.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategies under short timelines.
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of market dynamics and corporate goals.
  • Self-driven with excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 60% locally and regionally, including weekends.
  • Ability to independently travel overnight up to 60% of the time and work after hours if required.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with thought leader engagement, ad boards, and speaker's bureau.
  • Experience working with agency partners and managing resources through medical/legal/compliance review processes.
  • Experience collaborating with internal functions around market development and pipeline assets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, healthcare, business administration, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in Neurology or related fields.
