About the Role

The Regional Marketing Liaison (RML) Daybue role is a senior in-market position within the US commercial organization that focuses on engaging with key opinion leaders (KOLs), providing insights into regional opportunities, supporting speaker development and training, and executing educational programs related to Rett Syndrome and other neuro-psychiatric conditions. The role acts as a bridge between regional markets and headquarters, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement region-specific strategies, and promoting brand advocacy for Acadia's products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive brand advocacy; establish/reinforce Acadia as a trusted, enduring partner amongst thought leaders in Rett Syndrome and beyond.
  • Develop deep clinical and commercial knowledge of the Rett market; understand the treatment and market dynamic in their specific regions.
  • Drive results in key areas, including KOL relationship management, insights collection/reporting, advocacy development, speaker identification, training, and regional marketing efforts.
  • Execute physician engagement activities in the field and at key congresses.
  • Implement market development plans/tactics for pending indications/approvals.
  • Engage with national and regional thought leaders to impact education and drive brand advocacy; identify and cultivate emerging KOLs.
  • Serve as a commercial liaison on thought leader engagement across departments including ELT, Sales, Medical Affairs/MSL, and Marketing.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to provide customer insights and input on strategy, tactics, messaging, and program execution.
  • Develop and execute region-specific marketing tactics tailored to regional needs.
  • Manage marketing projects and budgets related to regional customer activities.
  • Interpret scientific data and market research insights into commercial strategies aligned with the Daybue brand.
  • Provide field-based training for sales teams when needed.
  • Monitor account-level execution, identify gaps, and coordinate with regional partners.
  • Create and manage branded and unbranded speaker program content, develop physician speakers, and ensure compliant execution of speaker programs.
  • Lead planning and execution of Acadia's presence at national and regional HCP conferences and scientific meetings.
  • Identify opportunities to partner with professional HCP associations for education initiatives.
  • Identify and monitor regional clinical dynamics through advisory boards and market research, translating insights into strategic plans.
  • Ensure compliance with Medical Legal Review (MLR) processes and corporate policies.
  • Measure the impact of marketing activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Develop and manage regional thought leader engagement budgets and vendor relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, healthcare, business administration, or equivalent; relevant education/experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in Neurology, with strong preference for rare disease and pediatric neurology experience.
  • Strong scientific and clinical acumen, with ability to engage with national KOLs on complex topics.
  • Experience with vendor and budget management, and influencing senior leaders.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work successfully in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in creating and communicating strategic visions and aligning resources.
  • Approximately 60% local/regional travel required, including weekends, with proximity to major airports.
  • Experience with thought leader engagement, advisory boards, and speaker bureaus preferred.
  • Experience working with agency partners and managing resources through medical/legal/compliance review processes.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans under short timelines.
  • Strong business acumen, understanding market dynamics and corporate goals.
  • Self-driven with strong planning skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed for travel and business needs.

  • Experience with thought leader engagement, ad boards, and speaker's bureau.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, healthcare, business administration, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in Neurology, with preference for rare disease and pediatric neurology.
