The Retail Brand Experience Manager, Home, supports guest-led, holistic in-store experience strategies, including in-store marketing and space presentation, to position Target as America's favorite discovery destination. The role involves designing and delivering in-store experiences, developing floorpad architecture, creating detailed briefs, evaluating concepts, and partnering cross-functionally with various teams to ensure brand standards and strategic objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support guest-led, holistic in-store experience strategies, including in-store marketing and space presentation to drive business for all cycles.
  • Develop the floorpad architecture, including fixture and mannequin placement and messaging strategy.
  • Write clear and actionable detailed deliverable briefs highlighting messaging hierarchy, photography needs, and signage placement.
  • Kick off detailed concept work with creative partners and evaluate concepts against strategic objectives.
  • Prepare for leader alignment reviews, which may include physical build-out in mock stores or digital presentations.
  • Support division-specific projects that occur off-cycle as needed.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Merchants, Planning, Product Design, SPT, RBX Partners, Creative, GMS, Site Merch & Store Ops to execute presentation concepts and omnichannel strategies.
  • Create and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and ensure RBX guidelines are maintained, including Legal & Safety guidelines and Target Brand standards.
  • Manage work within the defined budget and drive process and cost efficiency.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Design or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant in-store marketing and/or visual merchandising strategy experience (strongly preferred).
  • Experience authoring successful creative briefs.
  • Strong sense of composition and design detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to navigate complexity amidst ambiguity.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

  • Four-year degree in Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Design or equivalent experience.
