About the Role

The Revenue Growth Strategist at GBH will work with key team members to identify and secure revenue growth opportunities by creating a growth plan focused on developing new short form content and event franchises, community engagement activations, and securing corporate revenue from technology and innovation leaders within the Boston market and beyond. This role involves collaboration across departments, strategic planning, and business development to support GBH's mission of educating, inspiring, and entertaining audiences through various media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify all third parties that Service Provider intends to approach for possible opportunities for GBH.
  • Develop a program framework and sales strategy for new short-form franchise, including short form content, branded content, and experiential initiatives.
  • Develop framework, package, and 'go to market' positioning for new content and partnerships.
  • Work with internal GBH team on pricing strategies.
  • Develop the 'Boston Innovation Leaders Circle' including strategy, rationale, and narrative.
  • Lead and/or assist on corporate outreach for new short-form content franchise and branded content partnerships.
  • Build client target lists with customized rationales.
  • Participate in meetings and brainstorms related to business development, new partnerships, content studio, and sales strategy.
  • Identify opportunities and deliver draft approaches for business growth.

Requirements

  • Excellent reading, writing, verbal, organizational, negotiating, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with artists and business colleagues in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven capability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Macintosh operating system, Word, Excel, and document comparison programs.
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience building fundraising strategies for non-profit organizations.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in media content development and sales strategy.
  • Experience working with corporate partnerships and community engagement initiatives.
