About the Role

The Revenue Management Analyst Promotions role is responsible for developing and implementing promotional strategies that align with business objectives and drive growth. This role focuses on creating and analyzing promotional levers to maximize revenue while ensuring non-dilutionary practices. The Promotions Analyst will oversee the end-to-end analytics process, including evaluating historic offer performance, substantiations, and revenue KPIs such as incrementality, to guide data-driven decision-making. Acting as a strategist, approver, and influencer, the Promotions Analyst plays a key role in shaping the organization's promotional strategy and achieving long-term revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute promotional strategies aimed at maximizing ROI in terms of revenue and/or volume considering inventory levels across North America Operations.
  • Define correlations of promotions to specific customer segments, seasonality trends etc to influence targeted advertising by incorporating customer touchpoint data.
  • Optimize existing promotional levers and recommend new ideas to extract greater value from current inventory, segmenting based on distribution channel, product, car class offering, etc.
  • Oversee, with guidance, the approval of effective discounts and marketing messaging across all growth segments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing (Brand, Paid Media, Loyalty, eCommerce), Partnerships, Distribution (OTAs), and Revenue Management to deliver comprehensive insights on promotions and market trends, ensuring alignment across teams and driving data-informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Rates & Services to ensure systems and functionality to execute are set up properly; identify and resolve issues in testing environment before promotion is launched to market.
  • Meticulously review and ensure all promotional parameters are accurately defined before deployment, including approval of T&Cs vetted through Legal.
  • Track all current and upcoming promotions in the market, ensuring organization, adherence to timelines, and results monitoring to support effective execution.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to deliver actionable market insights, focusing on assessing promotional performance, uncovering trends, and optimizing strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness and fuel overall business growth.
  • Enhance tools, tracking mechanisms, and processes to improve promotional efficiency and measure incremental revenue contributions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's level degree or equivalent required; preferably in Statistics, Marketing Analytics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or Information Engineering. Advanced degree strongly desired.
  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience in promotional pricing, revenue management or market research role.
  • Experience within a complex, demand/supply planning environment utilizing large data sets.
  • Process innovation and development; management via KPIs.
  • Excellent communication skills; data synthesis, interpretation, and storytelling.
  • Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration between all verticals and stakeholders.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL, Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with technical tools such as Python is an added advantage.
