About the Role

Place Showroom is seeking an experienced Sales Manager and brand strategist for the contemporary dress brand, Elliatt. The role involves overseeing all domestic wholesale specialty sales for the brand, participating in major trade shows and regional markets across the U.S., and developing the brand's sales strategy. The company has showrooms in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Atlanta, and is known for its presence at prominent industry trade shows like Magic and Coterie. Founded in 2005 in Los Angeles, Place aims to nurture emerging brands and maintain a client-centric approach to retail relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all domestic wholesale specialty sales for the Elliatt brand.
  • Develop and implement the brand's specialty sales strategy, including forecasting and planning.
  • Participate in relevant major trade shows and regional markets throughout the U.S.
  • Manage territory development and maintain relationships with key accounts.
  • Travel up to 60% to support sales efforts and market development.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of wholesale sales experience, preferably in women's apparel or accessories.
  • Established relationships with contemporary apparel accounts.
  • Knowledge of distribution channels and market trends.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to excel in high-pressure, fast-paced situations.
  • Professional office skills and proficiency in Microsoft programs.
  • Ability to travel up to 60%.
  • Leadership experience in managing a sales team is preferred.
