About the Role

The Salesforce Marketing & Sales Product Owner at ABB will be instrumental in advancing ABB's strategic Salesforce platform by taking full ownership of the Salesforce Marketing & Sales products. This role involves establishing a clear global vision and strategy that aligns with the ABB Way organizational objectives, promoting efficiency, consistency, and collaboration across multiple business areas and divisions. The Product Owner will create a unified and streamlined approach to product development, leveraging agile methodologies to foster innovation, reduce complexity, and minimize technical debt.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster communication and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment, prioritize demands, and maintain consistency across business areas and divisions.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of the Salesforce Marketing & Sales product by establishing a global vision and strategy that aligns with organizational goals and focuses on business value generation.
  • Inspire and motivate the ASP Team while driving regular communication to assess project milestones and address roadblocks.
  • Promote the use of Salesforce standard features and methodologies to maximize efficiency, reduce complexity, and advocate for core solutions that can be adopted across multiple business areas.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the capability roadmap, prioritize critical initiatives, and manage the product backlog effectively.
  • Work with the Communications, Change & Training Lead to ensure effective onboarding and adoption of new capabilities through a structured change management strategy.
  • Oversee budget planning and allocation, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, while collaborating with compliance teams to enforce data governance and security standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information management, computer systems, business engineering or similar; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant working experience, including at least 4 years as Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role within Salesforce Marketing & Sales or related fields.
  • Experience in a Salesforce Marketing & Sales environment, preferably within a technology-driven engineering industrial sector.
  • Certification such as Scrum Product Owner, Salesforce Administrator, or Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant is preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant / Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist is a plus.
  • Utilize critical thinking to align product vision with organizational objectives and leverage data-driven insights for decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate discussions and foster collaboration among stakeholders and team members.
  • Flexibility in responding to changing priorities and staying updated on Salesforce and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs.

Nice to Have

  • Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant / Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist certifications.

Qualifications
