Job Description

About the Role

The Avid/Interplay Media Specialist will work in Media Administration, responsible for populating media within Avid Media Composer, ensuring quality control, organizing media within Interplay Access, creating projects, importing music and digital elements, and providing technical support to producers regarding Avid Media Composer and Interplay. This role is based at an NFL office or stadium location with in-person work required, focusing on evening and overnight shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Populate media within Avid Media Composer and organize media within Interplay Access.
  • Perform quality control checks including picture, sound, tape ID, and correct nomenclature.
  • Create projects and import music and other digital elements.
  • Provide technical support to producers regarding Avid Media Composer and Interplay.
  • Ensure master clip accuracy and proper project naming.
  • Work under pressure within time-sensitive schedules, including evenings and overnight shifts.

Requirements

  • BA/BS and experience in a production/post-production facility.
  • Professional experience with Avid Media Composer & Interplay; Media Composer 2020 preferred.
  • Experience with multiple digital media file types and codecs, including knowledge of frame rates, resolutions, and aspect ratios.
  • Strong computer skills on both Mac and PC systems.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to follow comprehensive instructions and work independently or in a team.
  • Strict attention to detail and ability to work under pressure within time-sensitive schedules.
  • Ability to work non-standard hours: weekends, evenings, holidays, early start times.

Nice to Have

  • Organizational and project coordination experience with Avid and/or Interplay.
  • Knowledge of football and/or the NFL.
  • Familiarity with writing Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree.
  • Experience in a production/post-production environment.
  • Proficiency with Avid Media Composer & Interplay.
