Job Description

About the Role

The Select EB Practice Leader in Raleigh, NC is responsible for driving continuous revenue growth for Select Employee Benefits by managing sales producers and achieving sales and budget goals. The role involves leading the practice as a key member of the Regional Executive Leadership Team, overseeing the USI's proprietary One Advantage Platform, and fostering positive relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn then lead USI's proprietary One Advantage Platform, including Omni, Network, and Enterprise solutions.
  • Manage the full cycle of Select Producers, providing leadership and coaching to generate revenue and meet sales goals.
  • Drive behaviors to meet revenue growth targets, including prospecting, generating appointments, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Partner with the internal recruiting team to source, screen, hire, and onboard new producers capable of generating over $100k in annual revenue.
  • Create positive relationships with other practices to promote cross-selling.
  • Ensure producers maintain robust pipelines with quality prospects.
  • Lead huddle meetings to prepare for new business appointments.
  • Join producers on new business appointments.
  • Facilitate prospects to Select producers in conjunction with the local CRM Champion.
  • Develop positive carrier relationships.

Requirements

  • Employee Benefits brokerage sales experience.
  • Must hold Life & Health insurance license.
  • Proven track record for meeting or exceeding performance targets.
  • Ability to coach and mentor in recruiting and hiring sales producers.
  • Possess a consultative, solutions-based selling approach.
  • Executive presence with polished written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be a collaborative and passionate leader with high integrity.
  • Familiar with a cross-sell approach and proactive sales management and tracking.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • Prior sales leadership experience in Employee Benefits or related business.

Qualifications

  • Life & Health insurance license.
