About the Role

In the role of SEM (Search Engine Marketing) Manager, this individual will focus on planning, implementing, and optimizing paid search campaigns aimed at driving traffic and increasing Sales pipeline. This role will manage PPC (pay-per-click) budgets, develop effective keyword bidding strategies, and collaboratively develop compelling ad copy to attract and convert potential customers. Responsibilities also include performance monitoring and data analysis to assess campaign effectiveness, optimize campaign mix, and identify opportunities for improvement. The SEM Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align search strategies with overall marketing goals and ensure maximum ROI on advertising spend.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and implement SEM strategies including Paid Search, Display, and Video.
  • Partner closely with external agencies and international Digital Marketing Managers.
  • Work towards organic search optimization and ROI maximization.
  • Understand target buyer personas and regularly perform thorough audience and keyword research.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and web development teams to optimize web experiences for conversion.
  • Track and share KPIs such as CPCs, CTR, CPAs, and ROAS.
  • Prepare and present reports regularly to key stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Proactively pinpoint gaps and opportunities and implement solutions in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on emerging digital and SEM trends and best practices.
  • Work cross-functionally across Marketing & Sales to maximize ad performance and investment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEO).
  • 3+ years' Hands-on experience with planning and implementing a successful SEM strategy.
  • Proven success in SEM execution.
  • Strong proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Ads and Bing Ads platforms. Google Ads certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience in web analytics, marketing, and business development.
  • Experience with A/B testing and other testing metrics.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide evidence-based recommendations, creation of power presentation for executive leadership.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Good time-management skills.
  • Great collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience working with external agencies and partners.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, or a related field.
