About the Role

Mars United Commerce is an award-winning, independently owned global commerce marketing practice with a growth-for-clients focus. With talent spanning the Americas, Europe and Asia, we create breakthrough, connected commerce solutions by balancing the smartest humanity with the latest technology. The agency's latest MarTech platform, Marilyn, is the industry's first and only end-to-end commerce advisor. We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to work on project management and activation of a major CPG client's shopper marketing programs through regional grocery retailers, while maintaining and managing key brand and retailer initiatives. This role is not a sales position and requires candidates to reside within commuting distance of our Atlanta, Chicago, or New York locations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain productive interaction with support departments to answer questions and provide direction to keep projects moving forward
Lead, compile, and author recaps of project activities and outcomes
Develop knowledge of assigned brand or retailer brand positioning, goals, consumer targets, and marketing strategies
Support programs tactically by developing timelines, trafficking and reviewing materials, estimating costs, etc.
Independently manage projects effectively from start to finish within Asana
Manage budgets in client systems, ensuring programs are completed within estimated hours and costs
Manage electronic job jackets and billing information
Develop proficiency across all Mars internal workflow and financial management systems
Work effectively and efficiently with various internal departments
Maintain and update team reports, including weekly status updates and project management tools
Perform all other duties as assigned by the Manager

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business or related field
Minimum of 3 years of media planning or execution experience, preferably in an agency setting
Knowledge of retail search strategy and execution (e.g., Criteo, CitrusAd, Pacvue, Kenshoo, Google) and/or programmatic preferred
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to manage time, adhere to strict timelines, and work well under pressure
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask across a fluid workload
Proactive in seeking work and responsibilities
Dependable in executing work and as a team member
Enthusiastic, with a 'can do' attitude towards work and new challenges
Desire to learn all aspects of the Shopper Marketing discipline
Effective interpersonal skills working well across functions
Conscientious work ethic

Nice to Have

Experience with self- and managed-service retail search strategy and execution
Familiarity with tools such as Criteo, CitrusAd, Pacvue, Kenshoo, Google

Qualifications
