About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Digital Marketing Manager to lead our digital strategy and execution efforts. This highly visible role is focused on web strategy, demand generation, lead acquisition, and multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive engagement, conversion, and brand visibility. You will manage a team of three digital marketers and collaborate closely with integrated marketing, content, design, and development teams. The ideal candidate has a strong B2B marketing background, deep experience in digital campaign execution, and a passion for optimizing the digital buyer journey. This role reports to the Director, Digital Strategy and is hybrid, with two days a week in either our headquarters in Jersey City, NJ, or our Boston, MA office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three digital marketers, fostering growth and performance
  • Own the digital campaign roadmap and prioritize initiatives aligned to business goals, audience needs, and performance data
  • Develop and implement integrated digital strategies that drive qualified leads and support pipeline growth across the buyer journey
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align resources, timelines, and deliverables across teams
  • Oversee website optimization and own web strategy to improve engagement and conversions, with a focus on UX, conversion rate optimization, content structure, and technical SEO
  • Partner with content, design, and development teams to deliver high-performing landing pages, campaign experiences, and personalized journeys
  • Leverage site analytics to inform improvements to navigation, content performance, and lead funnel conversion paths
  • Plan and execute multi-channel digital marketing campaigns (e.g., paid media, SEO, email, social) that build brand awareness and drive lead generation and sales pipeline growth
  • Align campaigns with audience personas, buying stages, and product positioning for maximum impact
  • Use marketing automation platforms to improve targeting, nurturing workflows, and campaign performance
  • Manage external agencies, vendors, and freelancers as needed
  • Analyze campaign and website performance using analytics tools like Google Analytics and Salesforce to report on ROI, conversion metrics, and pipeline impact, and to inform strategy and ongoing improvements
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to deliver insights to marketing leadership
  • Test and iterate messaging, creative, and digital tactics based on real-time user behavior and performance data
  • Partner across integrated marketing, content, product, and design teams to ensure digital efforts are aligned and integrated
  • Stay informed of digital marketing trends and tools and bring forward innovative ideas to evolve our digital presence

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 2 years of people management experience
  • Proven experience developing and executing multi-channel digital campaigns in a B2B environment, with experience in software or high-tech industries a plus
  • Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (preferably Optimizely), SEO tools (BrightEdge, SEMrush, SiteImprove), Google Analytics, and paid media platforms (e.g., Google Ads)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, foster collaboration, and drive results through others
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for in-person marketing meetings or events
