About the Role

The Senior Alliance Marketing Manager for Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) at Palo Alto Networks is responsible for leading the global strategy, planning, development, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for the CSP partnership. This role involves developing go-to-market demand generation strategies, creating alliance messaging and materials, and cultivating strong stakeholder relationships to maximize the business impact of joint solutions with CSPs. The position is based in Santa Clara, CA, and requires working closely with internal teams and external partners to drive demand, awareness, and partnership growth in the cybersecurity industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver marketing campaigns across customer segments and industries to generate demand, build awareness, and strengthen the partnership globally, including event strategy, digital marketing, content development, messaging, creative direction, marketing plans, sales enablement, and budget management.
  • Cultivate relationships with internal and external Alliances, collaborating with stakeholders to drive pipeline through successful co-marketing programs with cloud provider partners and create a preference for Palo Alto Networks solutions with CSPs.
  • Establish marketing strategies and execute programs with strong project management skills.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with global CSP alliance partner teams and internal stakeholders, motivating partners to provide additional joint marketing opportunities.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Alliances, Global Regions, PMM, Sales, and Partner Ecosystems teams to build consensus and deliver results that strengthen the business.
  • Build and execute multi-channel, multi-partner marketing plans working with global and partner teams.
  • Champion the development of joint value propositions and positioning to engage customers and accelerate adoption of joint solutions.
  • Develop a digital experience to drive demand to CSP listings, Paygo subscriptions, Free Trials, and influence Private Offers.
  • Create account-based engagement and nurture programs targeting key accounts to maximize demand generation investments, working with sales to facilitate engagement and deal flow.
  • Set, track, and report on KPIs and ROI metrics, conducting quarterly reviews with alliance executives to assess success, identify gaps, and maintain executive alignment.
  • Execute many marketing deliverables independently, including value propositions, solution briefs, global marketing plans, and multi-city events.

Requirements

  • Proven success in a partner marketing role within an ISV and/or CSP, with cybersecurity industry experience preferred.
  • 10+ years of enterprise marketing experience including partner marketing.
  • Experience working with organizations such as AWS, Azure, GCP, ISVs, MSPs, and SIs.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a highly cross-functional environment to drive outcome-based plans and programs.
  • Understanding of marketing activities including field marketing, digital marketing, and industry events.
  • Demonstrated impact on pipeline through partnerships and programs.
  • Highly motivated self-starter capable of building and launching programs within budget and managing multiple timelines.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Demonstrable success in partner marketing roles within enterprise environments.

  • Compensation between $152,000 and $245,500 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
