Senior Analyst - BCG Vantage

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Work in a growing global team delivering value to clients via individual expertise and institutionalized BCG Vantage assets such as products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, and domain-specific data.
• Support commercialization efforts for eCommerce / Digital Growth topics by providing insights on stakeholder trends and developments, helping craft proposals, client workshops, and marketing materials.
• Contribute to developing intellectual property and assets for the business.
• Assist in onboarding and training junior colleagues.
• Occasionally travel to serve clients onsite, understand client requirements, and design/develop solutions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of consulting experience in relevant sector/topic or 4+ years of industry experience if lacking consulting background.
• Deep expertise in eCommerce business models, growth drivers, and innovations across the ecommerce value chain.
• Experience in one or more of the following: DTC eCommerce, B2B eCommerce, Marketplaces, or omnichannel retail.
• Strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for staying current on ecommerce and consumer trends (e.g., GenAI, Agentic), entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to build successful relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research to understand customer needs and pain points.
• Ability to build data-driven business cases to prioritize eCommerce investments and innovations.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience in financial modeling, conversion rate optimization, A/B testing, product management, retail media, social commerce, or performance marketing.
• Working fluency in additional languages.
