About the Role

The Senior Analyst in Consulting Services at TransUnion in Chicago, Illinois, is responsible for delivering analytical solutions that help clients optimize marketing strategies, allocate budgets efficiently, and measure campaign effectiveness. Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose business needs, translate them into questions, and architect ways to gather data from multiple sources.
  • Help clients understand their data and its relation to their business objectives.
  • Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.
  • Conduct quantitative analyses such as data investigations, UI analyses, and data model assessments to provide valuable insights.
  • Translate analytics into the stakeholder's language, tell stories to simplify complex ideas, and convert findings into measurable, data-driven actions.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in analytics, strategy consulting, and/or marketing consulting.
  • Client-facing experience desired.
  • Exceptional data, analytics, and quantitative skills.
  • Advanced technical (Master's) degree in Statistics, Data, or Analytics (or equivalent).
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Highly effective cross-functional communication skills in both written and verbal form.
  • Ability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA).
  • Experience working directly with clients.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Data, or Analytics (Master's preferred).
