About the Role

The Senior Brand Manager role at Glanbia Performance Nutrition (GPN) involves building and executing the local marketing strategy for the Optimum Nutrition brand in Germany. The position focuses on translating consumer insights and brand strategy into impactful actions, supporting the company's mission to inspire performance and healthy lifestyles. The role reports to the Marketing & Commercial Director and offers a permanent, full-time opportunity within a global leader in the performance nutrition industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing & Commercial Director Germany to support in defining the 3-year plan for the German & Austrian market.
  • Evolve the local marketing strategy, bringing to life the Global Optimum Nutrition brand positioning to engage consumers and drive commercial demand.
  • Own the execution of the marketing mix, partnering with the International region to ensure local delivery of key strategic initiatives and drive local top spins.
  • Be responsible for activation and partnerships across paid, owned, and earned channels, ensuring best-in-class execution to drive full marketing funnel KPIs.
  • Partner with insights teams to monitor brand health and marketing effectiveness KPIs.
  • Identify key innovation platforms for the market and execute go-to-market plans for 2026 to introduce on-trend innovation into the DEAT region.
  • Manage the overall marketing budget, including monthly phasing and annual delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience in developing and executing through-the-line campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Media planning and agency management experience.
  • A commercial business mindset with experience in P&L ownership and marketing metrics.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to engage effectively and influence across all functions and operations.
  • Proactive, innovative, and highly motivated self-starter in a rapid result-driven environment.
  • Passion for the brand and ability to manage multiple projects and work strands effortlessly.
  • 7+ years of FMCG brand management experience.
  • Ideal candidate has a blend of strong blue-chip foundation and entrepreneurial experience.
  • Local and regional experience preferred.
  • Desirable: Wellbeing, Nutrition, or Health & Beauty experience and CIM professional qualification.
  • German (native level); English (fluent).

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of FMCG brand management experience.
  • CIM professional qualification (desirable).
  • Language skills: German (native), English (fluent).
