About the Role

Senior Brand Manager - Brand Growth & Innovation role at Kimberly-Clark involves leading innovation strategies, collaborating across functions to develop and launch new brands and products, and influencing stakeholders to support breakthrough innovation platforms. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, lead, and gain support for 3-5 years innovation plans enabled by a new, breakthrough innovation platform across multiple KCNA brands and categories.
  • Collaborate with Brand Growth & Innovation Leaders to ensure innovation plans are aligned with brand strategies and integrated within the brand innovation portfolio.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional partners in a matrix organization (including R&E, Product Supply, Insights & Analytics, RGM, Design, and Sales) to operationalize innovation programs and deliver on business standards.
  • Advocate for superior consumer experience as teams build enterprise capabilities for the breakthrough innovation platform.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to prepare major innovation programs for launch, including designing consumer experiences, assortment & pricing recommendations, and customer sell-in stories.
  • Leverage knowledge of P&L and collaborate with finance to provide real-time recommendations that protect revenue and profitability while addressing business challenges.
  • Engage with channel and sales strategy teams to develop compelling, customized plans based on voice-of-the-consumer and innovation expertise.
  • Drive development of channel-specific go-to-market strategies to maximize market presence, including category management, shelving, and assortment strategies.
  • Own project management across multiple innovation programs, champion Design Thinking and Agile methodologies, develop and track project plans, and manage stakeholder engagement.
  • Lead stimulus creation for consumer research, workshops, customer meetings, and internal stakeholder presentations.
  • Influence senior leadership through compelling storytelling to secure endorsement for innovation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business and/or Marketing; Master's/MBA with concentration in Marketing preferred.
  • At least 10 years' experience in marketing with brand management in B2B or CPG companies.
  • Experience leading innovation strategy and commercialization.
  • Strong understanding of brand foundational tools, consumer insights, segmentation, and target development.
  • Experience with brand positioning, brand strategy development, and concept/brief writing for product innovation and renovation.
  • P&L management experience, including development and execution of brand marketing strategies.
  • Cross-functional knowledge including manufacturing, product & technology development, and product supply.
  • Experience managing at least one direct report.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business and/or Marketing.
  • A Master's/MBA with concentration in Marketing is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in marketing, brand management, and innovation in B2B or CPG sectors.
  • Experience in brand positioning, consumer insights, and P&L management.
