About the Role

The Senior Brand Manager, Global Innovation Mayo, is a leadership role within Kraft Heinz's Global Innovation team, focused on driving innovation in the Mayonnaise category under the Heinz brand. The position involves building new capabilities, leading cross-functional teams, and launching innovative products to support business growth worldwide. The role requires a strategic, creative, and collaborative marketing leader who can influence stakeholders and manage end-to-end innovation processes in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive global innovation strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives in the Mayonnaise category
  • Lead a dedicated Agile Pod team (5+ person cross-functional team focused on launching new innovation)
  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the team
  • Collaborate with business units and cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovation initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across the organization, influencing and negotiating to drive innovation initiatives forward
  • Communicate complex innovation strategies and plans to non-technical team members
  • Drive significant revenue growth through innovation initiatives, achieving specific innovation metrics such as time-to-market, customer adoption, or return on investment
  • Be responsible for the P&L, competitive analysis, and retailer sell-in materials (in partnership with the business unit)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing for an established or startup CPG company, with prior experience in innovation
  • Experience in both employee management and cross-functional team management
  • Demonstrated ability to influence teams and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to simplify complex problems and make decisions quickly
  • Critical thinker with a consumer-centric and growth mindset
  • Strong personal motivation in fast-paced, often ambiguous environments, with a bias for action
  • Strong 'big picture' perspective while delivering specific innovation initiatives
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent strategic and analytical skills, including ability to assess competitive space using syndicated data sources
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Understanding of Financial P&L

Nice to Have

  • Experience with innovation in the food industry
  • Experience managing large cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
