The role of Senior Brand Manager, US Body Care, involves leading growth initiatives for the Body Care portfolio, working cross-functionally with global and local partners, and managing a team to achieve strategic and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, lead and execute business and strategic plans to meet future needs and expectations of each brand, including monitoring market dynamics to develop and/or change strategic and tactical marketing plans.
  • Achieve sales, consumption, and share objectives.
  • Guide the development and refinement of current and future forecasts for all brands, providing monthly updates; oversee budget to support financial objectives and accurate delivery of the P&L.
  • Partner with advertising, media, PR and influencer agencies to set communication strategies and develop integrated campaigns that maximize consumer reach and business results.
  • Lead the commercialization and in-market execution of product launches, including partnering with sales to plan and execute retail programs.
  • Support future pipeline development by partnering with the innovation team on forecast, insights, ideation, positioning, and hand-off for launching new products.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including R&D, Sales, Design, Packaging, Market Research, Finance, and Operations to develop and manage marketing objectives, goals, and strategies.
  • Manage and direct up to 4 direct reports, including goal setting, coaching, development, performance feedback, and addressing issues.
  • Create a high-performance culture emphasizing integrity, creativity, teamwork, insight, and excellence within the marketing organization.
  • Lead diverse, cross-functional teams through complex business environments.
  • Manage a complex portfolio effectively.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a BA/BS in Marketing or a business-related field; MBA preferred.
  • At least 8 years of business experience.
  • At least 5 years of progressive commercial experience.
  • Experience in marketing or sales within a Consumer Packaged Goods environment.
  • Previous people management experience.
  • Experience managing agency relationships.
  • Up to 20% domestic travel availability.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of successful business results and new product launches.
  • Experience across different product life cycles, including mature brands, new launches, and turnarounds.
  • Financial management and strategic planning experience, including P&L management.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Marketing or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of business experience.
