Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and leading the implementation of a brand strategy for both the Genworth and CareScout brands.
  • Developing a strategy for and securing sponsorship/partnership opportunities that advance our brands.
  • Expanding our thought leadership platforms to address care considerations beyond cost and partnering with cross-functional teams to bring them to life.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of our organic social media and community management strategy.
  • Managing media relations strategy and visual identity system and graphic design process.
  • Leading and developing a team of brand and marketing professionals.
  • Providing strategic brand counsel to the Chief Marketing Officer and senior leadership.
  • Measuring brand equity and net promoter score trends in partnership with the operating businesses.
  • Owning the strategy and ongoing evolution of our annual Cost of Care survey and surrounding territories.
  • Developing and managing budgets and overseeing external vendor partnerships.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of brand development experience, including graphic design, media relations, partnerships, and/or social media.
  • 7+ years of people leadership experience on a marketing or brand team.
  • Proven ability to lead high performing teams in dynamic environments.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Skilled in processing complex information, identifying key insights, and executing with precision.
  • Experience using SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 apps.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, heavily matrixed environment.
  • Trustworthiness with highly confidential information and professionalism.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the long-term care industry or related healthcare sectors.
  • Experience with enterprise thought leadership initiatives and survey management.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and customer orientation.
