Senior Director Business Customer Development

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage executive-level customer relationships for profitability and growth, and develop new business opportunities outside of existing customer base.
• Establish client specific value propositions for outsourced services, performance against stated objectives, business growth, and business consultancy.
• Identify profitable business ventures for pursuit.
• Engage additional company resources in the pursuit of business.
• Negotiate business terms within the context of contract templates.
• Develop and meet all specified revenue and pipeline goals.
• Utilize strong customer satisfaction skills.
• Meet all gross profit margin measurements.
• Manage a team of business development professionals to help meet company growth and profit targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, required.
• 10+ years logistics industry experience, required.
• 5+ years consultative sales/business development experience, required.
• Strong customer relationship management skills.
• Ability to negotiate business terms within contract frameworks.
• Experience in developing revenue and pipeline strategies.

Nice to Have

• MBA degree.
• 5+ years dedicated/shared delivery experience.
• 5+ years P&L/service responsibility.

Qualifications
