The role of Senior Director - Field Marketing, AMER, involves leading regional marketing strategies in North America, fostering innovation, and driving measurable business outcomes in collaboration with sales and global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead with a clear, forward-looking vision for the North America Field Marketing team, aligning regional priorities with global objectives.
  • Champion the customer by leading initiatives to redefine customer excellence for global enterprises and representing Freshworks at executive and board-level engagements.
  • Foster a growth mindset by creating space for experimentation in go-to-market strategies and programs, modeling resilience and adaptability.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to the North America Field Marketing team, promoting diversity and inclusion to build innovative, competitive teams.
  • Own the strategy, development, and execution of targeted marketing programs including demand generation campaigns, ABM, field events, user events, industry events, webinars, and digital initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, business development, customer success, and global marketing teams to ensure strong execution and alignment.
  • Drive operational excellence through robust systems and processes to manage high-stakes accounts and pipeline generation.
  • Manage budgets, investment models, and track/measure all marketing programs, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize strategies and resource allocation.
  • Understand marketing customer segmentation and value proposition, providing feedback to meet specific market needs.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in Cloud / SaaS enterprise application marketing (B2B).
  • Proven track record in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive leads, pipeline, and revenue.
  • Deep understanding of Account Based Marketing (ABM) versus Demand Generation at scale, and strategic deployment of each.
  • Strong background in Field and Partner Marketing, complemented by Digital Marketing experience.
  • Confidence in budgeting, forecasting, modeling, waterfall, and conversion rate analysis.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, business development, and global marketing teams to execute high-impact programs.
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to develop and retain high-performing, diverse talent.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence at all levels, including C-suite and executive engagements.
  • Experience going to market through partners is a strong plus.
