The Senior Director of Marketing - International Disease Awareness Campaigns will oversee campaign development, strategy, production, execution, and measurement for international markets, leading cross-functional teams and external agencies to deliver impactful disease awareness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of marketing associates responsible for implementing consumer disease awareness campaigns across multiple regions, affiliates, and languages.
  • Collaborate with global brand teams to receive overall brand strategy, identify gaps in consumer awareness, and develop briefs for agencies for global campaigns.
  • Oversee the creative process and preparation of assets for senior leadership review, ensuring timelines and goals are met.
  • Manage stakeholder communication with lead affiliates to ensure alignment and informed participation throughout campaign development.
  • Measure and optimize campaign performance post-launch based on in-market results.
  • Provide strategic leadership, training, development, and coaching to the marketing team.
  • Work with external creative agencies to develop comprehensive multi-stakeholder campaign strategies and execution plans.
  • Support transformation change management by leading enterprise workstreams that influence consumer behavior.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Media, Social Media, Privacy, Legal, Regulatory) and external partners to deliver compliant campaign assets.
  • Partner with media teams to utilize data for media activation, planning, and measurement.
  • Manage relationships with media agencies, establish expectations, and evaluate partnership effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with marketing guidelines, policies, and procedures, including privacy, legal, and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee budget management to ensure campaigns are delivered within financial plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Senior-level professional with 10 years of experience in marketing, campaign development, entertainment marketing partnerships, sponsorships, creative, or marketing/media.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Broad expertise in mass marketing and multiple media channels with proven in-market results.
  • Highly collaborative with ability to work within complex, layered organizations.
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire and develop teams.
  • Strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-directed with strong decision-making, project management, and budget management skills.
  • Proven ability to influence senior levels and external partners.
  • Comfortable with change and ambiguity, capable of resolving problems.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
  • Inclusive leadership style with respect for diversity.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in pharma industry (not required but a plus).

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing or related fields.
  • Proven success in campaign development and execution with measurable results.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external agencies.
