About the Role

The Senior Director of Marketing leads the development, strategy, and execution of marketing initiatives for CVRx products in markets defined by senior leadership. This role is responsible for building awareness and driving adoption of our therapy among physicians, hospitals, and consumers, while also spearheading direct-to-consumer marketing efforts. The position involves collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and other teams to develop effective commercialization strategies, with a focus on advancing CVRx's innovative medical therapies in a hybrid work environment at the Brooklyn Park, MN headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Become proficient with Barostim Therapy for the treatment of heart failure and hypertension, both commercial and clinical aspects.
  • Develop educational and communication programs and materials to facilitate physicians in patient identification, selection, enrollment, and therapy acceptance by physicians and consumers.
  • Develop and manage the collaborative production of marketing materials and sales collateral.
  • Aid in development of corporate messaging including branding, press releases, webinars, and corporate presentations.
  • Develop and execute an awareness program to educate potential patients, clinicians, payers, and strategic partners.
  • Develop and evolve brand strategy for lead development and expand brand reach, interest, and awareness.
  • Work closely with local sales teams, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), patient associations, and health authorities to expand knowledge and access to CVRx's therapies.
  • Expand online presence via websites, social networks, and search engines.
  • Develop and execute medical conference strategy, planning, and engagement.
  • Lead planning and organization of regional medical education events, including CME sessions and hospital awareness programs.
  • Work with KOLs and influencers to facilitate knowledge and acceptance of CVRx therapies.
  • Develop plans for ongoing market intelligence and lead the development of a comprehensive product roadmap.
  • Coordinate with Sales Operations to develop and optimize Salesforce for revenue reporting, customer relations, and forecasting.
  • Identify and track metrics to determine effectiveness and ROI of sales and marketing activities.
  • Complete special projects and perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of medical device or MedTech marketing experience.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expertise in Office 365 tools including PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial, informal environment while creating standards of excellence.
  • Experience in learning and promoting medical device therapies to healthcare professionals, centers, and consumers.
  • Hands-on approach, capable of performing alongside team members and leading them.
  • Ability to represent the company professionally externally and internally.
  • Career aspirations in leadership.
  • Valid identification for air travel (domestic and international).

Nice to Have

  • MBA degree from a top-tier business school.
  • Prior experience with active implantable devices, especially cardiovascular/cardiology and/or heart failure therapies.
  • Experience with commercial launches and clinical research of implantable medical devices or therapies.
  • Professional executive presence and ability to appeal to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with Direct-to-Consumer marketing of medical devices or therapies.
