Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the building, development, and delivery of strategic omni-channel marketing plans.
  • Be a subject matter expert and translate new technology, particularly in 1st party data marketing and CRM, into innovative marketing ideas for clients.
  • Show a strong understanding of differences in marketing to customers across various verticals and environments.
  • Develop trusted, long-term relationships with key client contacts and executives.
  • Ensure meaningful client value is delivered through best-practice solutions, skills, capabilities, and original thinking.
  • Collaborate with team leadership (account management, operations, creative, analytics, etc.) and partner agencies to turn ideas into executable plans.
  • Identify key data points and measurements to demonstrate the impact of strategies on the client's business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience in data-driven marketing, specifically CRM, email, online/offline media.
  • Deep understanding of the customer lifecycle and how messaging strategy influences the experience.
  • 5+ years working in an agency or consulting firm.
  • Experience developing solutions to support the sale of new services to clients.
  • Hands-on skills using data and research to drive decisions, proficiency in Excel and research tools.
  • Strong writing, presentation, and client-facing communication skills.
  • Experience translating data analysis into actionable marketing recommendations and presentations, proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail and ability to incorporate feedback iteratively.
  • Superior multi-tasking, networking, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with high intellectual curiosity, drive, determination, and persuasion skills.
  • Comfort and experience working within a matrixed organization with a wide degree of latitude.
  • Willingness to travel 20-50% depending on client needs.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting the sale of new services to clients.
  • Knowledge of marketing to various verticals such as Insurance, Financial Services, Non-Profit, Retail, Automotive, Travel, Media and Entertainment, B2B, High Tech.
  • Familiarity with new technology areas like 1st party data marketing and CRM.
