Senior Manager of Colleague Experience Communications

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute communications strategies for Aon’s People Organization to engage, inform and celebrate colleagues, change behavior and drive performance across the workforce.
• Cultivate trusted partnerships with senior leaders in the People Organization to help advance communications effectiveness in driving engagement and results.
• Work with leaders to identify communications objectives, brainstorm creative solutions and develop and execute communication plans using multiple channels.
• Develop an understanding of the unique goals, key roles and standard practices across the People Organization to ensure effective communications strategies.
• Create engaging content that uses a wide range of communications channels (webcasts, face-to-face, video, online, social media, etc.) to engage and inform all colleagues globally.
• Measure effectiveness of communication activities and use feedback to improve future efforts.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant strategic communication experience with an emphasis on internal, change or HR communications; global experience preferred.
• Proven track record of advising, influencing and partnering with senior leaders on strategic issues.
• Self-motivated with outstanding interpersonal, team and collaboration skills.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts simply and visually.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with proven expertise in using different styles and 'voice' to reflect the nature of the individual, audience and message.
• Ability and willingness to perform both strategic and tactical elements of the role.
• Strong project management skills with ability to execute programs with speed, accuracy and efficiency.
• Creative thinker, with a desire and willingness to seek opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Flexibility to work outside of standard office hours as needed to interact with others in global locations and meet business needs/deadlines.
• Language skills a plus.
