Senior Manager Product Marketing - Software

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Leverages deep product and industry knowledge to define the market opportunity for Software products and the ULTRUS platform.
• Categorizes solutions to promote, including product/service, data, and the corresponding competitive positioning, messaging, routes to market, target buyers, and buying cycle.
• Monitors industry trends, regulations, macroeconomic conditions, and acts as a subject matter expert to adjust strategies accordingly.
• Directs competitive analysis efforts to identify growth opportunities and risks.
• Creates product and platform messaging and positioning that identify ideal buying personas and customer pain points.
• Defines Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy, including plans for launching new ULTRUS modules, setting goals, and coordinating with sales, support, and marketing teams.
• Ensures marketing creates content for value sellers, including hunting packages, displacement guides, and sales presentations.
• Works with revenue operations to develop content for sales tools like 'Selling on customer value' slides and Battle Cards.
• Initiates market intelligence and trend research to identify new opportunities and inform product and sales strategies.
• Creates master messaging and value propositions to drive product awareness and business growth across segments.

Requirements

• 10 or more years in marketing with at least 5 years in marketing software solutions.
• 4 years of product marketing experience.
• Strategic and competitive analysis skills.
• Expert and disciplined communicator.
• Expert collaboration, facilitation, project planning, and management skills.
• Expert business acumen and strategic thinking.
• Team building and budget creation and management experience.
• Experience working with senior leaders.
• Strong analytical skills and sales enablement best practices knowledge.
• Process improvement skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience managing or using internal communication tools.

Nice to Have

• Sustainability and/or Product Stewardship software marketing experience.
• Digital marketing expertise.
• Understanding of AI and its capabilities.
• Ability to understand technical and scientific issues and translate complex information for nonscientific audiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in marketing with 5+ years in software solutions marketing.
• 4 years of product marketing experience.
