Senior Manager, Social Media

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of Baby2Baby's social media presence, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Develops and executes bi-weekly content calendar as well as more built-out campaigns & initiatives.
• Expands Baby2Baby's social media presence, followers and engagement through creative content and storytelling.
• Oversees planning for live social content capture at events and develops creative shot lists for social content.
• Maintains content library and actively collects/produces new assets for use in marketing.
• Actively reports, tracks and optimizes performance of social media channels.
• Responsible for all social media and content budget planning and tracking.
• Travels for disaster response social capture as needed to tell Baby2Baby's story on the ground.
• Oversees and develops junior social media team member.
• Liaises with third party agencies and vendors including graphic design, web development, digital ad agency etc.
• Collaborates on all visual assets for the Marketing Department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, etc.
• 6+ years of experience developing and executing social media marketing strategy.
• 4+ years management experience.
• Hands-on social media expertise in campaign management, publishing, editorial, content creation, and distribution.
• Strong photography skills and a keen eye for design and visual consistency across social channels.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign; experience with developing social graphics and utilizing content creation technology (e.g., Reels).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring multitasking, time management, and self-starting skills.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and follow-up.
• Experience with social media analytics platforms such as Keyhole and Hootsuite.
• Availability to work outside of traditional Monday-Friday hours and normal business hours.

Nice to Have

• Experience in marketing outside of social media and content.
• Experience working in a non-profit or mission-driven organization.
• Experience with live social content capture at events.
