About the Role

The Senior Manager Trend Marketing role at Adidas in Miami involves creating connections and establishing brand partnerships within the local Miami community by understanding and communicating city trends. The position is responsible for managing Trend and Culture marketing activities, ensuring effective communication between internal teams and external partners, and coordinating relevant brand activities with local communities and partners to support global and local brand initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage network and partner relationships with local artists and influencers in Miami, focusing on music, fashion, and streetwear/lifestyle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product placement, events, and marketing activities including brand communications, sales, and design.
  • Define Culture Marketing partners and manage relationships to support global and local brand initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to connect artists and influencers to the brand through content creation, activations, events, seeding, and product collaborations.
  • Collect and communicate local trend and market updates to the Culture Marketing head office and cross-functional teams.
  • Assist the Senior Director in managing external agencies and implementing Culture Marketing strategies.
  • Oversee category-specific Brand Marketing objectives for Miami community.
  • Drive and implement strategic category plans with relevant teams.
  • Manage all product ordering efforts for Culture Marketing needs, including forecasting, stock orders, and maintaining product knowledge.
  • Place product orders for partners, arrange travel for talent and team, and manage partner requests.
  • Manage coordination and usage of appearance, production, and PR services within contract terms, obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Lead and execute culture marketing seeding strategies for partner collaborations.
  • Ensure timely processing of invoices per contract schedules.
  • Establish and maintain relationships within the Culture Marketing industry by attending relevant events.
  • Contribute to planning and executing brand and Culture Marketing specific events, including concept development, staff management, outreach, and wrap-up.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of city and local community dynamics.
  • Passion for music, fashion, and streetwear is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Solid contacts within the music, fashion, and streetwear/lifestyle industries.
  • Strong leadership and networking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present information effectively.
  • Professionalism at all times.
  • Ability to work unconventional hours including evenings and weekends.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • BA in public relations, communications, marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum five (5) years of marketing experience within a consumer goods company.
  • Experience with integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Experience working in an international environment is an asset.
