Job Description

About the Role

The Senior Marketing Analyst, Business Analytics, is a subject matter expert for C-Shopper customer data insights and serves as the Customer Success resource for assigned Vendors subscribing to the C-Shopper Gateway platform. This role involves working directly with Vendor Users to drive usage and engagement for 7-Eleven Customer Insights, focusing on service, data monetization revenues, and business impact. The professional will coordinate user meetings, deliver training, coaching, and help desk support to develop mastery of the platform and ensure high adoption and value realization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owns C-Shopper's Customer Insights platform adoption and consumption for assigned User groups to drive high platform usages and stickiness, thereby improving 7-Eleven decision-making and supporting customer retention, trips, and basket upsell opportunities.
  • Manages retention and pursuit responsibilities among assigned Vendors to meet revenue growth objectives each year.
  • Delivers guidance and case studies to demonstrate high-value insights to user groups, vetting analyses prior to sharing with SEI Merchants.
  • Partners with user groups to act as the voice of the customer, helping to drive customer-centric sales and marketing strategies for suppliers, including coaching Vendors on opportunities.
  • Implements Vendor Users' success processes, including onboarding and ongoing support strategies.
  • Provides ad hoc project analytics and presentations to support complex external user needs and external supplier projects.
  • Defines metrics for measuring program impact, user satisfaction, product usage, and growth or productivity of user groups.
  • Develops strong partnerships with client user groups, fostering change champions to meet program objectives.
  • Anticipates and removes barriers that hinder team delivery on project goals.
  • Conducts and reports on user group evaluations and feedback.
  • Communicates effectively with users and team members to promote adoption and success.
  • Continuously reviews market and customer trends to improve user experience, operational excellence, and user skills, leveraging partner vendors.
  • Presents weekly updates on implementations, operations, usages, and external monetization status to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in Customer Insights, Market Research, or Business Analysis using C-Shopper Gateway platform or other retailer loyalty data platforms.
  • Experience analyzing retailer customer or POS data and deriving prescriptive actions in pricing, promotions, and assortment.
  • Knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative data analytics methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to engage audiences with effective, data-based storytelling.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with retailer loyalty data platforms beyond C-Shopper Gateway.

Qualifications

  • Educational background includes a bachelor's degree, with a master's preferred.
