About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Senior Marketing Manager to join the Marketing Strategy and Activation team. This role is responsible for marketing strategy and project management in support of programs including: Center for Investor Insight, Macro content, paid media support (our Morningstar relationship) and brand/corporate initiatives. This is a hybrid position and requires a minimum of three days/week in our Boston (Back Bay) office. Leading through collaboration, you should be comfortable working with various styles and applying your marketing acuity and industry knowledge to drive strategy for high visibility programs and initiatives within specified deadlines. You bring a positive, can-do demeanor to the team, with a desire to learn about our clients, our business, and Natixis. You are proactive, detailed oriented, process-driven and have a positive, “roll up your sleeves” mentality. You approach your career as a “student of the game,” with curiosity and excitement around innovation, evolution of marketing and opportunity. You also lead with a digital-first approach, with a strong emphasis on the analysis of metrics that contribute to the success of campaigns and future endeavors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the program's Executive Director to build plans to promote research reports and sentiment data with impactful content such as videos, papers, and web articles.
  • Manage all marketing tactics associated with the Center for Investor Insight, including production of digital research reports and web content.
  • Support macro content communication calendar by working with macro specialists and portfolio strategists, including weekly emails, quarterly webinars, and content updates.
  • Maintain macro landing page content with weekly updates and enhance it with ongoing compelling content.
  • Manage a media schedule with Morningstar, including delivering creative for digital ad placements, collaborating with media buyers, and cycling new creative every 6-8 weeks.
  • Develop emails for distribution to Morningstar subscribers and review metrics to inform future placements and creative strategies.
  • Oversee and maintain brand/corporate content, including web content, quarterly pitch books, messaging playbooks, and outlook campaigns.
  • Develop comprehensive creative briefs and plans outlining goals, target audiences, key messages, and critical metrics.
  • Work closely with Marketing Operations to ensure projects are well executed and maintain content on US websites in collaboration with Editorial and Digital teams.

Requirements

  • A minimum of five years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in financial services or a highly regulated business environment.
  • BS/BA degree in a relevant subject area.
  • Prior experience with investments or investment marketing.
  • Strong attention to detail and proven effectiveness in project management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in complex marketing operations environments with workflow and compliance tools.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across the organization.
  • Takes initiative and demonstrates ownership and accountability for projects.
  • Ability to clearly articulate plans, progress, and marketing recommendations.
  • Skilled in developing creative briefs and marketing campaign plans.
  • Proactive, can-do attitude, and ability to lead and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Experience with implementing, collecting, and analyzing metrics to evaluate marketing effectiveness.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external partners such as Editorial, Design, Marketing Operations, and Compliance.

Nice to Have

  • FINRA licenses (SIE, 6, 26).
  • Experience with workflow tools, compliance tools, Seismic, Salesforce.
  • Experience with digital marketing and content management systems like Workfront, Saifr, Co-pilot.
  • Experience in a financial or investment environment.

  • BS/BA degree in relevant subject area.
