Job Description

About the Role

This role is vital for optimizing our campaign operations and overall marketing efficiency. Without it, our ability to launch, manage, and scale effective campaigns would be significantly hindered. You'll help us implement processes, improve campaign delivery, and ultimately enhance our customer relationships and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Connect with stakeholders internally (via email or kick-off meetings) to discuss goals, requirements, timing, and next steps for a prioritized list of incoming campaign requests.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing Managers and other stakeholders to identify requirements and align on specific questions relating to the execution of campaigns, including change requests.
  • Build Email, Push, SMS, In-App, Webhook campaign logic, including ad-hoc campaigns and automations based on customer data, event triggers, and engagement data.
  • Build segments and audiences using segmentation tools for targeting audiences.
  • Troubleshoot and update HTML code within the Email Service Provider interface.
  • Perform manual quality assurance of your work, with extreme attention to detail, and review other campaign producers' work.
  • Run ad-hoc and set up automated reporting using ESP reporting tools and internal campaign dashboards.
  • Assist in the replication of campaign templates throughout the ESP migration process.
  • Help improve workflows by bringing ideas, recommendations, and best practices to evolve how the team works.

Requirements

  • Experience building and sending emails at scale from major ESPs, preferably including Braze.
  • Intermediate knowledge of HTML, with the ability to troubleshoot and tweak HTML to correct bugs/issues.
  • Intermediate knowledge of an ESP scripting language preferred (e.g., AMP, Liquidscript).
  • Experience sending multiple channel notifications is strongly preferred.
  • Working experience with ESP implementation and management is preferred.
  • Extreme attention to detail and a thorough/rigorous approach to quality control.
  • Effective communication skills in a fast-paced environment to achieve alignment and collaboration.
  • Experience coordinating tasks and deliverables across small teams to deliver results on time.
  • Strong time management skills, with good judgment to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with quick reaction skills and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems/tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Smartsheet) is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Experience with ESPs and multi-channel notification campaigns.
  • Proficiency in HTML and scripting languages related to ESPs.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.

  • Expected base pay range in Southern California: $120,000.00 - $162,000.00.
  • Eligibility for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits in accordance with company plans and programs.
  • Pay is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
