About the Role

The Senior Marketing Specialist reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Medicine (NM), adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. They are an experienced individual contributor to NM's integrated marketing plans, supporting their manager by creating significant building blocks of NM's marketing efforts. The role involves collaboration with various marketing and communications teams, working with outside agencies, and managing multiple projects to ensure flawless execution. The Senior Marketing Specialist is results-driven, able to present work effectively, and manages relationships with internal clients and external partners to meet project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of NM's integrated marketing plans and projects.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams including Brand, Service Line, Digital, Internal Communications, and Media Relations.
  • Work with external agencies and suppliers to ensure project deliverables meet standards and objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, anticipating and communicating project needs to the manager.
  • Create plans and materials independently that contribute to marketing efforts.
  • Manage relationships with internal clients by understanding their needs, delivering high-quality materials, and effectively managing feedback.
  • Develop, execute, and optimize paid social media ads across TikTok, Threads, and LinkedIn, managing budgets and assets.
  • Consult with agency partners and team members to ensure social media content meets specifications and is optimized.
  • Leverage social media tools (e.g., Sprout Social) to generate quarterly reports on paid and organic performance across platforms.
  • Conduct competitive analyses to monitor local and national competitors' social media activities, follower growth, and engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of comparable experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with experience managing client relationships.

Nice to Have

  • Agency or client-side healthcare marketing experience/internship.
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing or related field.
